Anthem’s distinctive name shines a spotlight on another important aspect of the house’s singular history: Balmain’s many fascinating and enduring relationships with some of the most gifted musical artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Pierre Balmain famously dressed the legends of his era—including Juliette Greco, Dalida, Marlene Dietrich and the incomparable Josephine Baker.
The Anthem comes in three distinct sizes— a mini shoulder bag, a large shoulder bag and a medium-sized design, which can be either be carried over the shoulder or stylishly clutched as a pouch, with the shoulder strap tucked inside the bag.
