From Pierre Balmain’s military-inspired bracelets and Châtelaine chain accents in the 1940s and 1950s to Erik Mortensen’s bold chain motifs of the 1980s, these powerful symbols have long expressed strength, protection and glamour.
The PB-engraved padlock on the Sync is directly inspired by a 1970s archival jewel, reinforcing Balmain’s tradition of merging utility with opulence. Its sculptural chain handle is a modern tribute to generations of Balmain tailoring and jewelry, uniting past and present in a fluid, protective silhouette.
